BPOB
It is the aim of the BPOB to:
• promote the conceptual, material and social interests of private investigators in the Netherlands.
• promote sharing expertise, operational work techniques and all that is related or may be conducive.
• promote sharing knowledge and skills amongst colleagues working in the field of private research to encourage professional collaboration.
The BPOB represents the private investigators towards government and other agencies. BPOB also functions as the national organisation within the ‘European society of detectives' and the ‘World Association of Detectives’
The BPOB seeks to achieve its goals by:
a) organising symposia;
b) publishing and distributing newsletters with educational programs, conferences and symposia, promotions, research and training.
c) promoting work techniques and other projects;
d) representing the interests of its members toward regulatory, financial advisory and policy making bodies such as government, SVPB and ECABO;
e) offering an information and knowledge platform for the private investigators branch.
f) to perform a bridge to other associations and organizations such as the judiciary, lawyers and notaries;
g) the recruitment of talented young researchers and to pursue an active policy of early stage researchers with knowledge and other support.
